As a fifth generation Minnesotan, I have learned and experienced the values that make this state the best place in the country to live and raise a family. Hard work, fairness and honesty are the backbone of these Minnesota Values. My wife Laura and I grew up together here. We went to school here and lived all of our 17 years of marriage as Minnesotans. As a father of three (Jane 5, Jack 10, Marta 12), we want the same opportunities and values for them that we grew up to expect from this great state.

It has been a true honor to represent the great folks of this district in the Minnesota House of Representatives. I am seeking reelection because I see the need to protect the opportunities for the next generation of Minnesotans.

Fourteen years ago, I started an architecture business in Saint Paul. Three years later, Laura began work as obstetrician in Stillwater, where she has delivered more than 2000 babies.

Putting Minnesota Values back to work means hope for all Minnesota kids. That optimistic idea is rooted in the firm belief that our hospitals, schools and companies are filled with the best nurses, doctors, teachers and workers in the world.

Minnesota's heritage of excellence is worth preserving. Building on that strength will mean bringing out our best. If we draw upon a fraction of the sacrifice, generosity and toughness of those who have gone before us, we will deliver an even brighter promise of hope for our kids.
